Aug 16 was the long awaited Brat Fest. Franz, Larry and Mike, along with Franks help, made Brats like there was no tomorrow. Close to 200 lbs of assorted brats were made by the Mad Butchers of EastLake. Frankonian, Frankonian with fresh herb, Frankonian with mozzarrela, WildBerry Lambic, Chicken Berry Mushroom, Chipoltle, Austrian Country, Garlic and Onion, Hungarian Debreziner, Donauschwaben, and Black and Blue (Blackened Filet mignon with blue Cheese). 11 Different types in all.
To top it off, Franz scored a couple of kegs of Hofbrau House Original Octoberfest beer, 3 weeks before it was to be released to the general public in Germany. A great time was had, and if you missed it, stay tuned for the next Event, Oktoberfest coming Mid September.
